VMC Lofts

VMC Lofts is the adaptive re-use of a historic buildings which was formerly a prominent mattress manufacturing facility. It will include 60 loft-style units targeted for families. Bear utilized multiple capital sources including 4% low income housing tax credits “LIHTC,” HOME funds via the City of Kenosha, a grant via the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s AHP program and State and Federal Historic Tax Credits. CMA is acting as general contractor. VMC Lofts is slated to open in August 2019.
