Former Office Property Planned for Multifamily Housing
Bear Real Estate Group is moving forward with plans to transform a west-side Madison office property into a 302-unit workforce housing development following a $7.29 million acquisition. The project will repurpose the 3.29-acre site into two five-story residential buildings with commercial space and both underground and surface parking. The redevelopment adds to Madison’s growing affordable housing pipeline, alongside separate proposals for 222 units on East Washington Avenue and 227 units near Odana Road.
