Village of Somers Embraces New Willow Creek Neighborhood Plan
Plans for a new 97-unit neighborhood called Willow Creek were well received during a Plan Commission meeting in the Village of Somers. The proposed development includes 33 single-family lots and 32 duplexes, situated on approximately 40 acres of land currently used for row crops. Village President George Stoner expressed confidence in the project, noting it would be a significant addition to the community, though completion will take time. The new neighborhood will feature 2.4 dwelling units per acre, with single-family lots ranging from 10,106 to 17,103 square feet.
