Milwaukee’s Harbor District to House Largest Affordable Housing Project
Milwaukee is preparing for the launch of its largest affordable housing project, the Filer & Stowell Lofts, in the Harbor District. The initiative, with a budget of $180.6 million, includes the construction of 576 apartments within six buildings over two years, set to begin in September 2023. The project aims to provide housing for people earning between 40% to 80% of the local median income.
