Scenic View Apartments

Scenic View Apartments is a combination of two buildings; one 40-unit senior building and one 8-unit family building located in Slinger, WI. Bear partnered with the Slinger Housing Authority to utilize the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Rental Assistance Demonstration (“RAD”) program to convert the 48 public housing units to Section 8. Bear utilized multiple capital sources including 9% low income housing tax credits “LIHTC” and a grant via the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s AHP program. CMA is acting as general contractor for the rehabilitation of the units. Construction is expected to start in Fall of 2017 and complete in the Fall of 2018.
