New Single-Family Community Progresses in Somers
A new 73-lot single-family neighborhood, Somers Creek, is progressing in the Village of Somers with a favorable final plat recommendation and a pending Village Board vote next week. The 43-acre site, positioned between Pike Creek and Hwy 31 within a local TIF district, reflects the community’s first plat approval in decades. Site work has begun under an early grading permit, utilities are being installed, and a development agreement outlining TIF support is expected following recent negotiations.
